Discovering Agile Contracts

This research aims to clarify common questions about agile contracts and how they are created: what they are, what objectives they pursue, and the principles they are based on. It begins with traditional contracts in order to examine why they may be unsuitable for certain types of projects.

  • Chapter 1, “Project Management,” introduces some basic concepts about the differences between traditional and agile management, providing the foundation needed for the topics that follow.
  • Chapter 2 defines agile contracts, with particular emphasis on understanding the needs they are designed to address. Reading it is recommended before moving on to Chapter 3, which explains how to create agile contracts.
  • Chapter 4 presents a collection of the models and clauses considered agile. They are listed alphabetically, with a brief description of each one, along with the advantages and disadvantages they may offer depending on the circumstances.
  • Chapter 5 goes into greater detail on strategies and tools for negotiating and implementing agile contracts, based on the bibliographic sources consulted.
