Gilberto Martínez

Gilberto Martínez is the R&D Department Director of Kenus Informática. Due to his more than 6 years of experience working in public administrations, he is also acting as an external consultant of the company for municipalities, on topics such as Smart Cities, European Projects and Research Projects. He has strong participation in EU projects funded under LIFE+, CIP-ICT-PSP, JPI Urban Europe and FP7 Programmes, gaining remarkable experience actively participating in projects such as SEED and INCA, SmartGov, and PHOTOCITYTEX. His main research fields are Smart Cities and Urban Regeneration, with a special interest in the commercialization of R&D project results into viable businesses He also holds the PRINCE2® certificate for effective project management and fluently speaks Spanish, Catalan, English and Portuguese languages, being a good skill used on dissemination activities and events.
