Team syncs, as Agile Bedrock describes them, are meetings with an empirical purpose: to align, inspect and adapt. They are not mandatory rituals: if a sync adds no value, it is changed or dropped. The daily sync, in particular, is not a status report but a tactical alignment between people; and when work runs on the assisted track, that track does not hold meetings: the human track synchronizes, the assisted track is monitored. Reciting the three ritual questions to the agents is keeping the form of the ceremony after emptying it of its purpose: the meeting is to align people.
